quinita l. ellis
Quinita L. Ellis obtained a Master’s Degree in Education specializing in Community Counseling and is a licensed mental health counselor for the State of Washington.
Ms. Ellis is accredited in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). She has experience providing clinical supervision, parenting assessments, mental health assessments, counseling, and in home parenting services (i.e. Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), Family Preservation Services and Crisis Family Intervention).
Ms. Ellis has provided individual, child, and family counseling in residential treatment, community mental health, EAP, and private practice settings for those experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD and issues associated with grief, codependency, relationships, parenting, trauma and attachment.
Quinita is a active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, the American Counseling Association (ACA), the American Counselor and Supervision for Counselors (ACES), American Multicultural Counseling Division (AMCD) , and Strategic Planning Partner for the R.I.S.E. Center.
During Quinita's free time, she enjoys spending time taking in all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer by hiking, camping, snowboarding, exercising and sightseeing with family and friends. When she is not outdoors exploring she is gardening, reading, and playing with her twin daughters Gabrielle and Ariel.
